The Tattoo Collector – Short Film

Now casting all roles for The Tattoo Collector, a short film to be entered in the 2015 Louisiana Film Prize. Pay will be contingent on prize winnings on a pre-set proportional basis. All filming will be done locally (Shreveport/North Louisiana) on weekends. Some actors will be asked to have temporary tattoos applied as indicated below.
Major Roles
Mike Skinner – (Our villain) Caucasian male, 20-30 years old and tall. Tattoo artist, motorcycle rider, with an interest in making leather goods. Tattoos are a must/plus. Wardrobe – jeans/t-shirts, biker type okay.
Amanda Skinner – (Mike’s wife, a victim) Caucasian female, 20-30 years old and tall, with model good looks and preferably with a prominent tattoo on her back and tattoos elsewhere. Wardrobe – Ranges from casual to dressy fashion with scoop backs and halters to show off back tattoo.
Remy Middleton – (Mike’s business partner/friend, our hero) Caucasian Male, 20-30 years old. Tattoo artist. Tattoos are a must/plus. Wardrobe – Jeans/t-shirts.
Supporting Roles
Jerome – (Morgue employee) – Any Ethnicity Male, 20-30. Wardrobe: Scubs.
Rudy Mills – (Mike’s best friend/customer) – Caucasian male, 20-30 years old, Large man (overweight okay), rugged biker. Tattoos are a must/plus. Wardrobe – Biker type.
Gloria – (Remy’s girlfriend/Amanda’s friend) Caucasian Female 20-30 years old. Tattoos are a plus. Wardrobe – casual/jeans etc.
Marshall – (Fashion designer) Caucasian Male, 20-30 years old, Tall. Wardrobe: Slacks or suit.
Bit Parts
News Reporter – Anyone
Andrew – (Victim) – Caucasian male – 18-20, Tattoos are a must/plus. Rides a skateboard.
Jerome’s Supervisor – (Victim) – Anyone – 30 & up, Tattoos are a must/plus.
David – (Tattoo Customer) – Caucasian male, any age. Tattoos are a must.
Inmate – (prison tattoo customer) – Any male. Tattoos are a must.
2 Police Officers – Anyone
Auditions will be held Wednesday, December 17, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Tipitina’s Music Co-op, 700 Texas Street, Shreveport Louisiana, on first come first serve basis (no appointments).
