Auditions for speaking child’s role in Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt Film “Sicario”

The new film “Sicario” is seeking to fill the role of a young Hispanic boy who is between the ages of 7 and 9.

While the boy does not need to have any acting experience, he does need to speak both Spanish and English.

Sicario” starring Benicio Del Toro and Emily Blunt will begin filming next month in the New Mexico area.  Benicio Del Toro will also be starring in “Guardians of the Galaxy“. According to Variety,  “Sicario” will be a crime thriller that is set in the South west. Emily Blunt has been cast as a Arizona police officer in the who crosses the border looking to find a drug lord she has been hunting.

Denis Villeneuve will be helming this project. Villeneuve has been keeping really busy.  He had 2 movies come out in 2013, the Hugh Jackman thriller “Prisoners” as well as the Jake Gyllenhaal thriller “Enemy“. “Sicario” is one of 2 movies he is working on now. The other is a sci-fi thriller,  “Story of Your Life,”  which will star Amy Adams. The script for “Sicario” is being written by “Sons of Anarchy” writer Taylor Sheridan.
