PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION
The award-winning team of Directional Dimension is casting for a short film “Two Step,” which follows a smart and sarcastic bookie who must navigate the aftermath and crosses and double crosses of a seemingly perfect theft.
REHEARSAL AND PRODUCTION DATES & LOCATION
Shoots March 2014, in Athens, Georgia. Shoot will be two full days. Actors will also be required to attend two pre-shoot rehearsals.
SEEKING TALENT
Reed (Lead): – Male or Female, early 20s-mid 40s,
The lead, a computer savvy thief, with a quick mind and a quicker mouth. Sarcastic and irreverent.
Chico (Supporting): Male, early 20s-mid 30’s
No stranger to violence, Chico is a man with a powerful physical presence. He is a low level enforcer who quickly finds himself in way over his head.
Jo (Supporting): – Male or Female, early 30s- early 60s
The person in charge. Jo has an eerie calmness and a hard set of eyes. Jo is not a person who makes idle threats or puts on a show, but if Jo is upset with you, you should be very, very scared.
Tommy (Supporting): 20s-30s
One of Joe’s silent and brutal enforcers, a human rotweiller
Tony (Supporting): 20s-30s
The other one of Joe’s silent and brutal enforcers, a human doberman.
AUDITIONS
Auditions will be held between 4:30pm and 7:30 pm on Wednesday February 19th at Flicker Theater and Bar, 263 W. Washington St, Athens, GA.
