“Bolden!” a film about the life of Buddy Bolden has a casting call out for featured extras in Atlanta.
The project is casting African American women between the ages of 18 and 30 for some featured spots in a scene filming this Monday. This is a period film and requires talent that have a very natural look, so they are seeking ladies who DO NOT have fake hair / extensions, fake nails, tattoos or anything else that may look modern. There are quite a few requirements for the roles, you can see the list below. These are featured roles that offer featured level pay.
The film will star Anthony Mackie, Jackie Earle Haley, Wendell Pierce, Michael Rooker and Michael Irby. Bolden! will be an account of the life of music legend, Buddy Bolden, the first Cornet King of New Orleans – BOLDEN! – an amazing historical project about the life of rag-time legend Buddy Bolden.
