Casting Call for Paid Background talent for new Film in Louisiana
Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are working on a new film called “Our Brand Is Crisis“
The Warner Bros. project will be filming in the NOLA area this fall and casting directors at Central are still looking for lots of background talent for the film. Currently, they are seeking background actors who are available to work through October. Extras casting is being handled by Central in Louisiana and they have registration / open call dates set up for this week. (see below). Talent interested in working on the film needs to come into their offices in New Orleans on the dates listed below to get set up.
George Clooney is behind the camera on this production. He is serving as the film’s producer and Sandra Bullock (‘Gravity‘) will star as well as produce. The film is a political comedy based on the 2005 documentary by Rachel Boynton. The film will be about American politics in South America and how U.S. strategists attempt to mold the opinions and course of elections in South America through smear campaigns and other underhanded tactics.
In the Rachel Boynton documentary, “Our Brand is Crisis“, the filmmaker followed a consulting firm called Greenberg Carville Shrum. More specifically, they followed the campaign of Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada in South America as it went horribly wrong. Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada also called “Goni” had been President a decade back and oversaw the privatization of Bolivia’s economy which sold off national assets to private companies. With his popularity waning, the campaign becomes focused on negatives to try to undermine the competition.

We are located at 1450 Poydras St, Suite 1420, New Orleans 70112 – There are plenty of parking options surrounding our building. The most convenient is Lot 1A at the Superdome, however it will cost approximately $3 to park there.
