WEb series is now casting for a project based on the classic fairy tale Snow White (if you’re unfamiliar with vlog adaptations, check out The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, The Autobiography of Jane Eyre, or A Tell Tale Vlog on YouTube). Following the major plot points of the original story, this version will include surprising twists, comedic elements, and the introduction of a new character: Snow White’s sister.
The first person narrative style of the series will bring the viewer closer to the fairy tale than ever before, providing a personal view of character interactions and development.
Character BIOS
[SNOW WHITE] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 18-25]
Snow White is a funny, likable extrovert, but being “the fairest in the land” has gone to her head. She is somewhat conceited and self-centered and can be unintentionally cruel. Struggling with suspicions about her stepmother, Snow White confronts issues of power, romance, and an uncertain future.
[GWEN] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 18-25]
Gwen, Snow White’s stepsister, is introverted, socially awkward, and feels overshadowed by Snow White. She’s also clever, funny, and self-deprecating. Gwen is torn between her ambition and a new-found friendship with the Huntsman, as she grapples with her inner darkness.
[THE HUNTSMAN] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 18-25]
The Huntsman, a skilled assassin employed by the queen, is seemingly stern and secretive. His unlikely friendship with Gwen presents him with troubling choices, and forces him to question his own motivations and loyalties.
