New NBC series is casting fashion model types in NY.
Has everyone always told you that you looked like a model? Well a TV series filming in NYC is looking for people who have.
The show is currently filming the first season which is part of the NBC new fall 2014 / 2015 lineup. The new NBC series is described as a light hearted, yet action-packed, show. It’s ‘Chicago PD‘ meets ‘The New Normal‘. Debra Messing’s character comes from a popular Spanish series about one woman’s quest to have it all.
The casting directors at GWC in New York City are looking to cast paid extras for a scene filming shortly. They are specifically looking for women who have a high fashion model look, tall and thin, in the New York area. This will film next week on the 20th and 21st so please only apply if you are fully available in the New York area on those dates. Both Union and Non-Union extras / background actors are welcome to apply.
‘Mysteries of Laura‘ stars Debra Messing and a New York police detective who must juggle her demanding career, her even more demanding twins and non-cooperative ex-husband.
Laura Diamond, played by Debra Messing (will & Grace) is a homicide detective working at a precinct in NYC. She is also the mother of twins. Laura may not always look completely put together and a little rough around the edges, being the mother of twins may do that to a woman, but her gut feelings and hunches are usually enough to track down the suspects and solve the crimes. Her ex-husband isn’t always cooperative but he is also a cop. He is usually unavailable to help out much which leaves Laura straddling that fine line between motherhood and police work.
Laura is on a quest to have it all… a demanding career and an even more demanding family and she will definitely try to make it all work, no matter…. or who, what gets in her way.
