The Netflix Comedy hit “Orange Is The New Black” is filming season 3.
Earlier this summer Netflix announced that the show would be back for season 3. The announcement came as no surprise given the shows enormous popularity with both viewers and critics. The show also received about a dozen Emmy nominations during the last award show.
Orange Is the New Black was created by Jenji Kohan and produced by Tilted Productions and Lionsgate Television. The dramady is based on Piper Kerman’s memoir of her year in prison, Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison. Season 2 premiered over the summer on June 6, 2014. Season 3 is in production right now but a release date has not yet been set but it will most likely air in early summer.
