New Sony PS4 series “Powers” having a casting call for teens in Atlanta
Atlanta area casting directors are looking to cast a few teens between the ages of 16 and 18 to play students in an upcoming scene on “Powers“.
The new series “Powers” is being created for Sony to be a streaming TV series to premiere this winter on the Playstation Network. The show will be available to all Playstation plus subscribers and will be based on the “Powers” comics. Sony has ordered 10 episodes of the live action series and is currently filming episodes for season 1.
‘Powers‘ is about 2 detectives, Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim, who live in a world where superpowers are not that uncommon. Actually, quite a few people posses superpowers and some of those people may not be using their powers for good. Sharlto Copley will star as Christian Walker a cop with a dark and violent streak who is quick to act but sometimes jumps in without thinking things through. Michelle Forbes is cast in the female lead and will play Christians partner. Christian is an ex super hero who came to lose his powers in the fight of his life and is now fighting the bad guys as a detective.
