Cirque du Soleil or “Circus of the Sun” is a dynamic, circus, theater and performance group that has become one of the most well known touring companies on the planet. Their shows are describes as a “dramatic mix of circus arts and street entertainment”. The company is based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, but has shows touring all over the world as well as staples in Las Vegas and other cities. The shows use powerful theatrics, circus performers, acrobatics, music dance and other forms of performance art combined with elaborate costumes and makeup to create a magical, fantasy effect on stage.
The theatrical group is now holding auditions for performers who would like to join Cirque Du Soliel. Open auditions for dancers will be held in Las Vegas while singers can audition online through a self made video.
Cirque du Soleil will be holding an open casting call for dancers who are interested in joining the company. The company is currently seeking experienced classical, contemporary and Jazz dancers for existing shows and also shows that will be produced at a later date. Cirque du Soleil is seeking professional dancers for its current shows and upcoming creations. The are also seeking to fill the role of Mr. Piggy for the Beatles Love
Mr. Piggy is a frustrated, despicable Englishman – an aristocratic traditionalist dead set against the new culture being brought on by Rock n’ Roll. He eventually partakes in the tea ritual, getting more and more sucked into the youthful revolution of love and freedom. His curiosity got the better of him and he ended up trying this “magic tea”.

Auditions for Singers
Singers: Auditions in Las Vegas, NV, United States – April 2014
Cirque du Soleil is seeking professional singers (male and female, all voice types and styles) for live performances in its existing shows and upcoming creations. We will be hosting auditions in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States in April of 2014.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of the audition;
Candidates must currently reside in Nevada, California, Utah, Arizona, Idaho or Oregon (if you do not currently live in this region, please click here to apply on line; your profile will be evaluated and you might be considered for a future audition in your area).
Interested candidates must submit:
A CV (resume)
A photo
A video demo of one song from their repertoire

Auditions for Dancers
The Casting team will be hosting auditions in Las Vegas, NV, USA on February 25, 2014 in the following categories:

The audition will take place at:

All candidates must arrive at 8:00 a.m. to register (candidates that arrive after 9 a.m. will not be admitted). Auditions will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end around 4:00 p.m. We recommend you bring your own drinks and lunch to the audition.
Callback session for all dancers is on February 26, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of the audition.
Important information to attend the audition:
In addition to being taught a series of challenging combinations, dancers should be prepared to perform their own 2-minute piece. Please bring music and appropriate dance attire.
