Cirque du Soleil will be holding an open casting call for dancers who are interested in joining the company. The company is currently seeking experienced classical, contemporary and Jazz dancers for existing shows and also shows that will be produced at a later date. The theater company has “shows that travel the world and shows that the world travels to see“. They have so many productions touring that the company states that at any given time, they most likely have shows touring on 5 continents.
Cirque du Soleil is known for extravagant sets, stunning visuals, amazing costumes and lots of acrobatics.

Cirque du Soleil is a Canadian theater / circus / performing troupe that puts on visually spectacular shows which include “dramatic mix of circus arts and street entertainment”. They are the largest theatrical company in the world.

The Rock Center for Dance, 8210 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89123
All candidates must arrive at 8:00 a.m. to register (candidates that arrive after 9 a.m. will not be admitted). Auditions will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end around 4:00 p.m. We recommend you bring your own drinks and lunch to the audition.
Callback session for all dancers is on February 26, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of the audition.
Important information to attend the audition:
In addition to being taught a series of challenging combinations, dancers should be prepared to perform their own 2-minute piece. Please bring music and appropriate dance attire.
