Hiring Company Cast Members – paid weekly improv gig

Where:
– Sheraton Hotel, 3315 Scott Futrell Dr., Charlotte, NC 28208
– Please check in at the front desk to confirm and get directions for auditions held in ‘Port-side Room’
When:
– Those auditioning will be seen in a group on Saturday, 12/06, at 11AM.
– Do your best to be on time but if you are running late please still do stop in, we’ll still see you, or drop in to the next time slot
– Those auditioning should expect to stay for 2 hours but could be released sooner.
Seeking:
– Actors ages 18-55, for hire as company cast members.
– Shows are ongoing, most Saturday nights, only 9 company members are needed for one show.
-Actors are scheduled according to their availability, collected each month.
-Actors with improv experience are a plus.
What:
-Interactive, Improv Murder Mystery Dinner Show set in modern day with no costumes and no serving required.
-Show performs Saturday nights and some weekdays subject to actor availability.
-Time commitment for regular shows is 4-6 hours including a pre-show rehearsal.
-No weekly rehearsals required, you rehears only when you are scheduled to work.
-Weekly show location is at the Sheraton, on Scott Futrell Dr., in Charlotte.
-Private shows booked all over the Greater Charlotte Area, travel stipends are added when locations are more than 20 miles from the Sheraton Hotel location.
– Casting rotates depending on actor availability collected & scheduled on a 1 month basis.
Audition:
– 2 hours, audition consisting of improv games.
Project Start Date:
– For those hired at this audition, you will be welcomed to stay for the Training at our show the evening of 12/06. We understand this is late notice and that many, if not all will be available to stay, and alternative start dates will be given for December 2014 Dates.
– Please come to the audition prepared to give availability for December, so bring your booking calendar!
Requirement:
-Hard copy of head shot or recent picture, quality is not a concern provided we have something to remember you by.
-Resumes are also needed no matter your level of experience; all levels are welcome to audition.
Pay: Pay ranges from $40-$100 plus meal and tips, pending role. Roles rotate each show.
