There is a casting call out for a new Disney Film
“The finest Hours” which stars Casey Affleck, Eric Bana, and Chris Pine is in production in the Boston area and is looking for male extras of all types to appear as paid extras in the film.
The Disney movie will be filming in the Chatham area in mid December and is seeking talent who would be available between the 11th and 13th of next month for overnight shoots. The film is set in the 50’s and talent applying will need to look like they fit into that time frame, clean shaven, hair cut, etc..
“The Finest Hours” is a disaster film set at sea. Disney Pictures has adapted the story from Casey Sherman and Michael J. Tougias book about an oil tanker that gets damaged by a massive storm and a small team of Coast Guards are sent in to try to rescue the men trapped on board the sinking ship which during a massive storm. The film is written by Scott Silver and according to IMDB will be directed by Craig Gillespie (who also directed “Million Dollar Arm” for Disney Pictures). “The Finest Hours” currently has a release date of April 2016.

According to Boston Globe, Boston Casting is seeking men of various sizes for the Disney Feature Film. This will be a 3 day shoot and talent must be available for all 3 days. “Please realize this is a period piece and your hair will have to fit the period to what the Chatham, MA locals looked like in 1952,” the notice says. “You will have to be fine with being clean-shaven.”
