Disney’s THE LION KING is holding auditions.
The production is coming to the Toronto area in search of performers to join the Broadway and touring cast. The show will be holding auditions for dancers on April 28th 2014.
The show has been going strong for over 17 years both on Broadway and in almost 2 dozen productions worldwide. The Lion King is produced by by Disney Theatrical Productions and directed by Thomas Schumacher. To date, it is the highest grossing Broadway show of al time. The show will be coming to Atlanta this April and will then go to Toronto next month. It can also be seen on Broadway.
The show has won numerous Tony Awards since it’s debut in the late 90’s.
The Lion King remains one of the most popular productions on the planet. Over 70 million people have attended a show and Disney’s The Lion King is running on Broadway in New York, in London’s West End, and in Madrid, Hamburg, Tokyo, Sapporo and on tour across North America.

Female – Auditions start at 9:30 AM
Male – Auditions start at 1:30 PM
MALE & FEMALE DANCERS
Seeking strong male and female dancers of all cultural backgrounds between 18 – 30 years old with a classical and modern dance background. Some male dancers require strong acrobatic skills.
PLEASE PREPARE THE FOLLOWING:
Male and female dancers must be warmed up and ready to dance at their respective date and time in flat jazz shoes or bare feet. Dancers may be asked to sing, so should bring sheet music and prepare a song that shows off their voice and range; pianist provided. Dancers should bring a recent picture and resume or list of performance experience.

Tyhe Lion King will be coming to Toronto. The production will play at the Princess of Wales Theatre beginning on April 30 and it will run through June 15, 2014.
