“Divergent” Sequel, “Insurgent” now casting extras in Atlanta – 14 day booking

The sequel to “Divergent”, called “Insurgent” is about to begin filming in the Atlanta area.

Casting directors at CL casting are looking for tan and fit men and women between the ages of 35 and 60. The extras chosen to fill these roles will have multiple work days. While there seem to be 14 work days for this casting, full availability on  May 27th, 28th and 29th AND June 9th, 10th,& 11th is mandatory.

“Insurgent,” will star Shailene Woodley (“The Descendants”) as young warrior, Beatrice or “Tris” Prior. The film is set in a futuristic Chicago, IL where the population is tested at a young age and separated into factions based on those tests. Tris doesn’t fall into any of the factions, or what they call being “Divergent”but does join a faction and hides her divergence. Theo James co stars as Tris’s love interest. In the sequel, “Insurgent” Beatrice Prior must confront her inner demons and continue her fight against a powerful alliance which threatens to tear her society apart.

The film’s release date is March 20th 2015. It will be followed by “Allegiant Part 1” in 2016 and “Allegiant Part 2” in 2017.

About the film series:
