The Lifetime TV show “Drop Dead Diva” is looking for paid extras to work next Monday. The casting agents are looking for some very professional types that can portray lawyers and legal aides. The selected extras will need to wear their own clothes so upscale business attire is a must. The filming will take place in Peachtree City, GA which is about a 45 minuter drive from Atlanta. Travel expenses will not be covered by the production so please only send in your submission if you are an area local.
Drop Dead Diva is a legal comedy airing on the Lifetime Television network. The show is now in its 6th season and produced by Sony Pictures Television. The show had a bit of a rocky road. During its 4th season, Lifetime announced that they would be cancelling the series, however, that season had a large audience. Lifetime re-negotiated its deal with Sony Pictures Television and brought the show back for a 5th season. Seems that rating are still good since the legal comedy is now filming season #6. Season 6 began filming last year and is still in production. 13 episodes were ordered for the 2014 TV season.
“Drop Dead Diva” is about a shallow model who dies and comes back in the body of a heavier lawyer. The shallow model now having to deal with not being her gorgeous old self, has to learn how to cope with her vanity, self image and her new career.

Casting for this project is being handled by Marinells casting in Georgia.
