John Ridley is working on a new ABC show “American Crime”
The show is now filming in the Austin Texas and is looking for paid background extras who are available to work this Friday and are able to portray construction workers and construction workers with pickup trucks.
This is open to men of all ethnicities ages 21 to 50 in the Austin area.
John Ridley’s new TV project takes on the heavy topic of racial tension in America. The show is set in central California where a horrible crime is committed. “American Crime” centers on a racially charged murder and the trial that follows. The story is examined through the lives of the people involved in the trial and in the community. Ridley wrote the script and is also acting as the shows executive producer. Also producing the series is former ABC Studios exec Michael McDonald.
Please be sure to follow all instructions below and DO NOT submit if you are not local to Austin Texas. The casting directors will not be considering anyone who does not live near the shoot location and all extras will need to have a valid Texas ID in order to be cast and work on set.

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $58.00 for 8 hours ($7.25/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 7-10 business days AFTER you work.
We do NOT have any Call Times yet so you would need to be available ALL DAY/evening. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Location is in the AUSTIN, TX area.
