Talent wanted in Austin for new Richard Linklater movie
Richard Linklater (“Dazed and Confused“) is working on a new film which many are calling the sequel to “Dazed and Confused“.
There is a rush casting call out for extras who are available to work in the Austin Texas area this Tuesday. The casting directors on this project are OLC and they will only be considering talent that is local to the area. All talent submitting must be able to provide a valid Texas ID / drivers licence in order to work on the scene.
The show is looking for background talent to play college students in an upcoming scene. The project is about to wrap so this may be one of the last chances to get in on the act.
Paramount Studios and Richard Linklater are in production of the film which is currently being called “Twita” or “That’s What I’m Talking About“. The project has been described on film sites as the “Dazed and Confused” sequel. Linklater (“School of Rock”, “Bad News Bears”) has also commented that the film does remind him of “Dazed and Confused“. The new film is about a college student who joins a highly rated college baseball team and comes to find out that he may be in for more than he bargained for as his new friends are a crazy and hard partying bunch.
“Twita” will star Tyler Hoechlin (“Teen Wolf”), Wyatt Russell (“22 Jump Street”), Ryan Guzman, Zoey Deutch, Will Brittain, and Glen Powell (“The Expendables 3?, “Ride Along 2“).

**MUST HAVE PROOF of TEXAS RESIDENCY (TX Drivers License r ID, TX College ID or TX Voter’s Registration) and a Valid photo ID!**
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 10-14 business days AFTER you work.
You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the end times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT! If you have work or class at all scheduled for this date – you are NOT available. TENTATIVE Call Time is 12:00pm and this will LAST ALL DAY/Into the LATE NIGHT!!! You should be prepared to work 12-15 hours!!

COLLEGE GIRLS: female, all ethnicities, age range 18-25, cute, college sorority types, very pretty girls (you would be hanging out at a Punk Rock club)
COLLEGE GUYS : male, all ethnicities, age range 18-26, college guys, should have shaggy hairstyle that covers your ears but is not long hair, (you would be hanging out at a Punk Rock club)
