“The Nice Guys” starring Russell Crowe, Ryan Gosling and Matt Bomer is casting extras.
The new Warner Bros film action / comedy is set in the 70’s and is being produced by Joel Silver. Shane Black (“Iron Man 3“) will be directing the project.
Tammy Smith Casting is seeking to fill some roles for extras on a scene filming this coming Thursday. The movie is looking for talent of all ethnicities between the ages of 25 and 60. The film always requires talent cast to come in for a wardrobe fitting this week before the shoot either on Tuesday or Wednesday. Since this is a period film, they are seeking people whose hair either looks like a 70’s do or can be styled to. They are especially interested in men with mustaches. Please note that this will be a night shoot that starts at about 4PM and may go into the early morning.
“The Nice Guys” is about muscle for hire, Jackson Healy played by Crowe. According to First Showing, Crowe’s character ends up working with a private investigator named Holland March (Ryan Gosling). The two end up investigating a murder which ends up to being a conspiracy of some kind linked to the auto industry. Matt Bomer’s character seems to be tied to the conspiracy in some way.

Casting for a MEN and WOMEN, ages 25 to 60 all ethnicities
We need a few police officers, detectives and coroners, as well as a few upscale neighbors near a crime scene in 1978
This is a small scene.
NOTE 1 : (about HAIR): MEN can have shorter hair and start letting it grow, or even better, if you already have slightly longer hair ( think of how it looks in this day an age when you are in need of a hair cut…and/or longer!)
Facial hair is a plus, especially mustaches! it’s the 70’s!! If you have a beard or mustache, you must be open to some shaping/trimming if necessary. Women should have hair that is stylable for the 70’s
NOTE 2: Due to available period costume sizes:
-WOMEN must be between a size 0 to 10 DRESS
-MEN canNOT be bigger than a size 38 WAIST
NOTE 2b: NEW FACES please (unless you were not used on camera when booked previously)
NOTE 3: You must be avail for the work date (this THURS 11/13) as well a fitting either tomorrow, 11/11 or Wed 11/12- THIS WORKS IN STONE MOUNTAIN and the fittings are in Atlanta. Thursday is an ALL
NIGHT SHOOT (starting approx 4pm and filming ALL NIGHT)
