Story Line:
There was a man who hustled the streets of New York, his hustle was intense and exceedingly violent. His tenacity for success was unyielding, as he pursued wicked endeavors according to the only environment he was ever exposed to. The spiritual attitude in his environment was, “take what’s yours and make it mine.”
When the fullness of wickedness reached it’s pinnacle this man found himself on the receiving end of theft. What was being taken from him wasn’t anything tangible, nothing you can see with the naked eye. On this day as gun shoots rang out he finds himself lying in the warmth of his own blood as his now paralytic body runs cold… Yet his story isn’t over.
Revived and stabilized doctors communicate with him as needless handcuffs restrain him to the hospital bed. Doctors inform the young hustler that he will never walk again. Adding insult to near death injury police detectives enter his room reciting his privileges that begins, “you have the right to remain silent…”
This man’s involvement in the horrific crime that nearly took his life because of the environmental prison that raised him is now sending him to a literal prison.
The shift:
After serving time in a storage house full of street hustlers he somehow comes out the other side of his stay a new man. As he goes through the process of “what do I do now?” he discoveries a passion for the entertaining arts. The first half of his life took many years away from him as well as his ability to physically stand. But the most important thing horrible situations could not steal was his mind. Shifting his hustle mentality to the new found passion of entertaining arts, a paralytic, reformed street runner now finds himself giving opportunities to folks who thought it only a distant dream.
The pinnacle of wickedness leads to death dragging many down with you. But the pinnacle of persevering righteousness leads to a life only dreamers dream of and doers experience.
This man is a hunter that loves God and the assignments God gave him. This man will never physically stand yet he stands taller than most people with all of their faculties. This man experienced the lowest low only inches away from death and has risen to heights that will never end.
