John Ridley’s (12 Years A Slave) New Series for ABC, ‘American Crime’ is holding auditions for featured roles
OLC is looking to cast a featured role of a “Jittery man” for an upcoming episode of the new ABC show. OLC is seeking an actor who is a Caucasian male in the age range of 20-37. They are looking for a wiry, jittery, nervous type (like actor David Blackwell at age 35). Those applying MUST have some acting ability and have never worked on the ‘American Crime’ series.
John Ridley’s new TV project takes on the heavy topic of racial tension in America. The show is set in central California where a horrible crime is committed. “American Crime” centers on a racially charged murder and the trial that follows. The story is examined through the lives of the people involved in the trial and in the community. Ridley wrote the script and is also acting as the shows executive producer. Also producing the series is former ABC Studios exec Michael McDonald .
The scene will be filming sometime in the next few weeks and all applying must be local to Austin Texas with proof of Texas residency. There are auditions for this, talent that is being considered will have to come in for an in person audition in Austin. Please only apply if you are local to Austin and available to come in for an interview this coming Monday.

Pay rate for FEATURED EXTRAS is $72.00 for 8 hours ($9.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 7-10 business days AFTER you work.
