Film in N. Georgia is seeking Experienced Hikers

The new Robert Redford film “A Walk In The Woods” is looking for some experienced hikers who would be available to work in the North Georgia area next week. Specifically, the project is looking for those that have experience going on long treks as well as their own hiking gear.

The new film is a comedy about 2 aging men, played by Robert Redford and Nick Nolte, who get together to go on a very long hiking trip through the mountains. The film is based on the book by Bill Bryson called “A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail”.

Casting for this is being handled by Catrett Lock eCasting out of Georgia.

EXPERIENCED HIKERS – Seeking a variety of HIKERS – thru, section, hard core, long distance as well as day hikers. Those applying should have experience AND gear and be physically fit. This shoots in the Amicalola area on Monday (4/21) and/or Tuesday (4/22). Please submit experience as well as a list of some of your gear when you email in!
