Sony Pictures is behind the film and the old “Goosebumps” TV series is being made into a movie. The film is based on the series of teen novels by writer R.L. Stine. Rob Letterman (Monsters vs. Aliens) is directing “Goosebumps“.
Jack Black is playing the writer R.L. Stine. The story is about a teen who happens to move in next door to the author played by Black where he somehow releases the monsters, zombies, etc. from Stine’s books, or so we hear.
A young kid teams up with the niece of young adult horror author R.L. Stine after the writer’s imaginary demons are set free on the town of Greendale, Maryland. – IMDB
