The series “Boardwalk Empire” is now in production in the New York City area and the show is looking to cast Caucasian boys who are between the ages of 9 and 14 for a scene that will be filming later this month on the 24th and the 30th. The show is now filming season 5 which will air on HBO beginning in September.

HBO’s Emmy Award winning series is set in 1920?s – 1930?s Atlantic City during prohibition. The show is inspired by the book by Nelson Johnson called Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City which centers on Atlantic City’s corrupt treasurer, Nucky Thompson.
The series stars Steve Buscemi as the corrupt politician, Nucky Thompson. The show’s pilot was directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Terence Winter (The Sopranos).
HBO announced that this will be the show’s final season.
