HBO’s award winning political comedy “Veep” is casting extras in Maryland.
The show is filming in the Baltimore area this week and is accepting submissions for background talent to work in episodes filming this week. The series casting directors with Pat Moran are seeking extras of all types ages 18 and over. The submission instructions are below and state that talent interested in working on the show must not only email their submission but also send in a hard copy through the mail.
“Veep” is created by Armando Iannucci and stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumsky and Matt Walsh. Julia Louis-Dreyfus stars as Vice President, Selina Meyer. The HBO political comedy earned Dreyfus another Emmy win for her portrayal of Selina a few months back. The show premiered on HBO in the spring of 2012 and has been going strong ever since. The show has won multiple awards and has been nominated in the category of Outstanding Comedy Series for each of the past 3 seasons.
