Kids, Adults & Musicians to play Vikings on TV Series in Atlanta

Atlanta residents have the opportunity to play Vikings in the CW series “The Originals”.

The Vampire Diaries spin off will be doing a Viking scene and is currently booking kids, adults and musicians for the scene that will film on Friday in Conyers.

The scene will be a flashback scene to a Viking village in the year 990AD. The show is looking for extras that can fit into that timeframe, i.e. people who have light skin and light hair, natural looks with long hair. You can see the full specs on that below.

Also, for the Viking scene, the show is looking for musicians. The scene will actually be filming in Conyers Georgia and only apply id you are local to the area and available to do a costume fitting in Atlanta tomorrow or the next day.

Read this carefully, there are a few casting calls listed.

Musicians:
Casting for MEN and WOMEN, ages 18 to 60 – that are REAL MUSICIANS
who play FLUTE, ACOUSTIC GUITAR and PERCUSSIONS (drums, etc…)

This works THIS FRIDAY, 5/23 and will start mid afternoon and go LATE at night (but not overnight)
ALSO, there are fittings tomorrow WED 5/21 or THURS 5/22 and you must be avail for one of those days for a fitting- all of this takes place in Conyers, Georgia.

PLEASE LIST YOUR AVAILABILITY for these dates in your submission (as per instructed below )- we need to show photos to the director ASAP, based on availability, as well as your look, for selection.

Due to available period costume sizes:
WOMEN must be a size 0 to 12, and no bigger than a C cup (no exceptions)
MEN must be between a 38 Reg and a 46 Reg coat, maximum.

ALL need to be CAUCASIAN ONLY, with blonde or light to med brown hair to portray villagers in the year 990AD (Viking era) for a flashback scene

This will be an AFM contract (musicians union) and a minimum of $200 base rate with overtime after that. This person will PLAY LIVE and then be recorded and mime to his or her own playback! A more hipster / cool musician type is ideal.

Men with facial hair and/or longer hair (below the ears and longer) is preferred, but not required. **Women must have natural hair that is to the neck or longer.

NOTE: YOU MUST BE WILLING TO WORK IN CONYERS, Georgia
THE RATE IS $60 for 8 hrs with OT after that. Fittings are 1/4 check of the base rate ($15).

We will notify you by email if you are being submitted to the director and producers
