Paid extras who can sing in New York City
The TV series ‘The Knick” which stars Clive Owen is looking for people who can sing for a Chorus scene they will be filming in New York City. All extras will be paid about $150 to $250 per day, depending on day worked. No travel expenses are covered so please only apply if you are local to the NYC area and available to work full days this week.
“The Knick” is a TV mini-series that takes a look at the professional and personal lives of the staff at New York’s Knickerbocker Hospital. The show is set in the early part of the twentieth century. The mini-series is set to film 10-episodes and take us back to a time before roads were actually paved and cars were not part of the traffic problem.
The show stars Clive Owen as a doctor and is directed by Steven Soderbergh.The show is being filmed for airing on the Cinemax Network.
The show is filming now and will air on Cinemax sometime in 2014.

Set in downtown New York in 1900, THE KNICK centers on Knickerbocker Hospital and the groundbreaking surgeons, nurses and staff, who push the bounds of medicine in a time of astonishingly high mortality rates and zero antibiotics. The writing team of Jack Amiel and Michael Begler (Raising Helen, Big Miracle), who wrote the pilot for the series, will serve as executive producers, along with Soderbergh, Owen, Michael Sugar (Rendition) and Gregory Jacobs (Behind the Candelabra).
Grant Wilfley casting is looking for people to work tomorrow and the following day. GWCI is seeking both union and non-union extras for the scene that live in the New York City area and have full availability for the 7th and 8th.
GWCI is seeking SAG-AFTRA/NON-UNION men to portray chorus members on the tv series “The Knick” starring Clive Owen.
Especially seeking men with real chorus experience for lip synching scenes.
Works Tues. 1/7 and Thurs. 1/8 in NYC.
