Central casting in NYC is seeking paid extras that are 18 to 20 years in age to portray college students for a scene filming later this week in NYC.
Law & Order SVU (Special Victims Unit) is a police drama set in New York that was created by Dick Wolf and is a spin-off of the Law and Order series. The show is set in New York City where it is also filmed. Each episode follows a crime and the detectives, prosecutors and medical examiners working the case. It is the longest running scripted drama on TV and airs on NBC on Wednesday nights. The show premiered on NBC on September 20, 1999 and has ran 13 seasons since. The series is known to base some of the episodes on actual crimes, a so called “ripped from the headlines” approach.
