FOX has ordered the TV pilot for ‘Empire‘, a film directed by Lee Daniels. The show is about the lives of a hip hop mogul and those surrounding him. The series pilot is now filming in Chicago.
“Empire” will give viewers a glimpse into the everyday business and drama behind running a hip hop empire and will feature music that will be new for the show as well as current hip hop hits.
Danny Strong (The Butler) and Brian Grazer are also part of this project.
The pilot is looking for some specific stand-ins that are available for work every day while the pilot films.

We are looking for dedicated men and women to work as regular STAND INS for the pilot episode of EMPIRE! This is a big commitment, so we need people that are willing to work long hours, multiple days in a row. You could be working EVERY single day.

You will also need to submit a few pictures (one RECENT head shot, one RECENT non-professional head shot, one RECENT non-professional body shot). Please make sure you are dressed to impress! The director, Lee Daniels, will be personally interviewing each candidate.

AFRICAN AMERICAN FEMALE (put FEMALE 2 in subject line): Dark complexion. Between 5’4” and 5’6 WITHOUT shoes, Dress size 20-24.
AFRICAN AMERICAN MALE (put MALE 1 in subject line): Medium complexion. Between 6’1.5″ to 6’2.5″ WITHOUT shoes, 170-180lbs.
