The 2nd chapter in the “Divergent” series is now filming in the Atlanta area.
The news site Access Atlanta revealed that the new film “Insurgent” will begin shooting next month and has been casting extras for the last few weeks under its working title.
The film is casting extras that have alternative looks. Casting directors at CL have released a notice for extras who have a Steam punk, cyber punk, goth, metal, grunge or Vampire look. This films in Atlanta and currently only seeking Atlanta residents since no travel expenses will be paid. All extras will be paid. The general pay for extras is about $60 / 8 hours.

The casting directors for the project extras are CL casting, out of the Atlanta area, the same company that just wrapped up extras casting on “The Hunger Games” final film.
Divergent / Insurgent is a sci fi thriller based on the Veronica Roth novels and is often compared to “The Hunger Games” trilogy. Divergent is also a trilogy, The first novel is Divergent followed by Insurgent and the final book “Allegiant.” The film stars Shailene Woodley as Beateice, Theo James as Four and Kate Winslet as Jeanine. “Divergent” came out in theaters a few months back and “Insurgent” will be released next year followed by “Allegiant” in 2016 through Lionsgate entertainment.
