Open Auditions for The Exit 7 New Short Play Contest

Exit 7 Players will audition for The Exit 7 New Short Play Contest on 12/15 & 16 at 7 p.m. at the Exit 7 Theater (37 Chestnut St.). More than 40 roles are available in these 8 comedies and 8 dramas. Roles range from a 12-year-old girl to a man in his 70’s. Actors will read selected sides from the scripts, which were chosen from a submission pool of 685 plays from all over the United States and from several other countries.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to perform in original plays, many of which will be Massachusetts premieres, and several world premieres, written by new, emerging, and established voices in contemporary playwriting.

Exit 7 is a community theater group located in Ludlow, Massachusetts that was founded in the spring of 1984 and began with a production of Agatha Christie’s Ten Little Indians. Located on Chestnut Street in the historic auditorium of what was previously the Ludlow High School, the Exit 7 Players have focused on renovating the Chestnut Street Theater while bringing the arts to Ludlow and the surrounding communities.
