Pop ROCKS is not just a band; they are a HIGH ENERGY LIVE MUSIC SHOW that plays the BIGGEST DANCE PARTY HITS made to fill the floor! PopROCKS brings you the best of today’s hottest hits, 80’s rock, throwback hip-hop, and timeless classics all mashed up and delivered in a PARTY ZONE format! Pop ROCKS is more musical theater than a traditional cover band or tribute act. Pop ROCKS is a night of entertainment you won’t forget!!
DESCRIPTION
Pop ROCKS is an impersonation act focusing on rockin’ pop music based out of the Twin Cities, MN. They are looking for an outstanding female performer who has an incredible voice and dance ability. This position requires the performer to emulate different pop stars such as, Lady Gaga, Shania Twain, Rihanna, Cindi Lauper, and Miley Cyrus. Quick costume changes as well as high-energy dancing are involved in the fast-paced show.
DETAILS
Pop ROCKS plays 2-3 shows per week throughout the regional area and 85% of shows will fall on weekends. Transportation is provided for the out-of-town gigs and also, most costumes are provided with the exception of intimate apparel. Competitive guaranteed per-show minimum pay.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be in the age range of twenty-two years old to mid-thirties.
Must be available for 2-3 shows per week.
Pop ROCKS is based out of the Twin Cities, MN. Must be available to travel out-of-town to regional shows for days at a time.
Must set aside personal style and emulate many different performers throughout a single show.
Must be comfortable with sharing the stage with other bandmates and singers.
Must have passion for music and be seriously committed to the overall growth of the group.
