Paid extras for TV series “Nashville”
The ABC TV show “Nashville” is seeking extras to play reporters, police, film crew, photographers, journalists, assistants and more for a scene that is filming in Nashville TN this coming Thursday.
Casting directors at On Location Casting are only looking for extras who have not worked on this project (New Face) or at least have not worked on “Nashville” in the last 2 months.
All extras will be paid and the pay rate is $64.00 for 8 hours plus overtime paid after 8 hours (if necessary). Please do not submit if you do not live in the area because travel expenses are NOT covered. Do not submit is you do not have full availability on the dates listed for filming because you will need to be on set at least 8 hours, maybe more.
Nashville is a musical/drama created by Academy Award winner Callie Khouri. The show stars Connie Britton as Rayna Jaymes, a legendary country music superstar, whose stardom begins fading, and Hayden Panettiere as rising teen star Juliette Barnes. Rayna is an established, yet aging country queen who is persuaded to open up for a new, young and sexy Juliette Barnes after her tour fizzles and her popularity begins to wane. The show revolves around the conflicts between the 2 women.

We obviously do NOT have Call Times yet so it could be a VERY early morning start and/or could possibly shoot late into the evening/night. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Weather will likely be VERY cold and could impact driving conditions. If you live far away, don’t trust your car or think that you might not be able to make it for any reason due to weather related issues, please do NOT submit!

NEWS REPORTERS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 27-55, upscale, professional, clean-cut, conservative, attractive, should have your own business attire (please specify that you have business attire)
CAMERAMEN & SOUND MEN: male, all ethnicities, age range 24-60, somewhat professional looking, should have some experience with video cameras or sound equipment (please specify any experience)
PHOTOGRAPHERS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 22-65, somewhat professional looking, should have some experience with camera equipment (please specify and experience)
JOURNALISTS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 27-55, upscale, professional, clean-cut, conservative, should have your own business or nice conservative attire
WEBSITE TECHS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 25-30, tech types who have computer experience (please specify any experience)
RECORD LABEL ASSISTANTS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 20-30, hip, stylish, music industry types
