“Gotham” just recently premiered on FOX but is still filming season 1 in NYC
Want an invite to Fish Mooney’s exclusive club? Well here you go because the show is casting punk, glam and tattooed type ladies to be patron’s of the club. The show’s extras casting directors are looking for some alternative type ladies to work on the 29th of this month.
The new Batman prequel is a cross between a police series and a comic. The series goes back to the roots and focuses on the iconic Batman characters before they actually met the dark night.
The FOX “Gotham” site describes the show as…. The good. The evil. The beginning.
The new series focuses on Gordon before he became the commissioner and tells the story that led up to the making of the Catwoman, The Penguin, Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker. In the show, Bruce Wayne is just a kid when he meets Gordon and the orphaned girl who will go on to become cat women. The series follow’s Gordon’s rise through the Gotham police department and his crack down on Gotham’s dark underbelly which will shape the lives of all those villains we love.
According to FOX, GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”), GOTHAM follows one cop’s rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering between good and evil, and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.
Growing up in Gotham City’s surrounding suburbs, JAMES GORDON (Ben McKenzie, “Southland,” “The O.C.”) romanticized the city as a glamorous and exciting metropolis where his late father once served as a successful district attorney. Now, two weeks into his new job as a Gotham City detective and engaged to his beloved fiancée, BARBARA KEAN (Erin Richards, “Open Grave,” “Breaking In”), Gordon is living his dream – even as he hopes to restore the city back to the pure version he remembers it was as a kid.
