New TV pilot ‘Redzone’ looking to cast football players

A new CBS TV pilot will begin filming in the Wilmington area next month and the production is looking for football players and athletes 18 to 28 years old in the Wilmington NC area.

The CBS pilot for “Redzone” is one of 5 TV shows that are filming in the Wilmington area. Other shows filming in Wilmington include “Under The Dome” which has been casting extras in the area recently and “Sleepy Hollow” which begins filming season 2 in a few weeks.

The show will be produced by Nikki Toscano who also produces ‘Revenge“. “Redzone” is about a terrorist attack on Washington, D.C. A retired CIA operative in the DC area is brought back into the fold to onvestigate the new threat.

The local news site,  Star News reports that the CBS series will begin filming in mid April.

The casting notice reads:

Seeking Football Players for new TV Pilot

Players should not be seeking NCAA eligibility through college.

The new CBS show will be filming in mid March and players should be available to work on set. All the selected players will be paid for their time.

New football project! TV Pilot in Wilmington, NC. Need Males 18-28, available in mid-March.
