Open Casting Call for Broadway Musical “6 Ways to Love”

We are currently casting for the musical Six Ways to Love scheduled to open in Charlotte, NC in January 2015.

Show will also be produced on Broadway in 2015 and go on a Southeastern States tour in early 2015.

Preferences for all cast members:
• Must be willing to tour with the production company in the near future;
• All cast members must be able to sing and dance in various genres as well as act;

Six Ways to Love has 15+ songs where the majority of the cast will sing. All cast members will be required to act, sing, and dance during their audition.

Please prepare 16 bars from a song from the following productions to sing at your audition. Please bring sheet music for keyboards/piano for your selection.

•Grease
•Oklahoma
•Guys and Dolls
•Rent
•Mamma Mia

Male cast members may have to dance in high heels during one song in the musical (not at auditions though)

Those who are under 18 who wish to audition must get parents signature and permission upon arrival.

Auditions will be your prepared 1-2 minute monologue, singing, and a learned choreographed dance.

Actors must bring resume and headshots to be seen.

Paige — Afraid of Commitment, 20-30, soprano or alto
Emma — Jaded on love, 30-40, alto
Sophie — young woman, college, naive, 18-25, soprano
Abby — House Owner for the girls, older, wise with a lot of advice, 30-50, soprano or alto

Males
Tommy –nerdy, young adult, college, 20-25, tenor
Troy — getting married, 20-40, baritone
David — handy man, go-to man for the guys, 30-50, baritone or bass
Mark — Wants a commitment, 20-40, tenor or baritone
Alex — Afraid of Commitment, 20-40, tenor
John — A southern gentlemen trying to steal a girls heart, 30-40, tenor

Open Auditions will begin at 8am. Dance auditions will begin between 1 and 2 pm. Please bring dance clothes and character shoes.
