A Chorus Line, a musical will be holding auditions for performers this month in Westerville, Ohio (Westerville is a suburb of Columbus, Ohio).
Seeking non-equity singers and dancers for performances that will run in July at the Dublin Abbey Theater in Dublin, Ohio.
A Chorus Line is a musical about singers and dancers auditioning for spots in a musical. A Chorus Line is set on the bare stage of a Broadway theater during an audition for a musical. A Chorus Line provides a glimpse into the personalities of the performers and the choreographer as they describe the events that have shaped their lives and their decisions to become dancers. A Chorus Line shines a light on the hopes, fears and dreams of performers vying for a chance to do what they all know they were born to do. A Chorus Line is an enthralling and emotional metaphor for what drives each of us to achieve our dreams.
Original Broadway production produced by the New York Shakespeare Festival, Joseph Papp, Producer, in association with Plum Productions, Inc.
The music is by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban and is taken from a book by James Kirkwood, Jr. and Nicholas Dante.
