SYNOPSIS
In the small mining town of Rupland, baseball is a religion; from little league to the famed summer league, boys dream only of the game. The pinnacle, being invited to don the orange and black of the Rupland Hawks. Jack, Johnny and Joe Dalton show promise, in life and on the field. Though guided by their father, the brothers find themselves intertwined with the town and the game. As adversity sets in, the Daltons must battle through Rupland’s hardships of death, decline and war. THE SONS OF SUMMER tells the story of family and the last gasp of small town America.
