“The Sunday Horse” will be filming in Conyers Georgia this summer.
The film will be in production from June through the beginning of July. The film is looking for many extras, all ethnicities ages 18 on up.
“The Sunday Horse” is about a woman who rides horses but suffers a tragic accident while riding. After the near-fatal accident, on a horse the experts thought was nothing special, a determined rider from the wrong side of the tracks defies all the odds to pursue her dreams of winning a national jumping championship.
“The Sunday Horse,” starring “Twilight”‘s Nikki Reed, is the inspirational true account of Debi Connor, a U.S. champion equestrian jumper, and the challenges she faced pursuing her dream. She wasn’t from the typically privileged horsing community and suffered serious injury, yet was able to take a “throwaway” horse and train him for world class competition.

Seems that the film is also casting dogs! If you would like to see your dog be part of the film, the casting directors ask that you attend the open casting and bring a photo of your dog… not the dog itself.
There are some speaking roles available for the film as well. If you are interested in a speaking role, be sure to bring your headshot and resume. Casting directors are also requesting that everyone attending bring a photo ID with them. All roles are for adults, sorry, no kids or teens needed on this project. The film is looking to cast young looking adults to play the teen roles.
“The Sunday Horse” will be filming in varous parts of Georgia this June and July.
I am not an extra but if I look like someone you can use please call. Presently I am on a Shoot for a movie that is being filed in Cleveland. Appreciate any consideration.
I wish I’d known about this earlier! I train riders and horses and have a set friendly dog. I would have flown out to GA for this!
