New historical series will begin filming next week in central Virginia and they are casting paid extras.
Move over, Scarlett & Rhett — it’s time for Virginians to party like it’s 1861. If you have been dying to get dressed up in floor length gowns and look like an 1800’s southern belle…. or gentleman, here is your chance.
The ABC / Amazon Studios new series ‘Point of Honor‘ will be holding an open casting call for extras in the Richmond Virginia area this week (Week of the 2nd). Arvold casting has announced the event and has created an events page for those wishing to come in and meet with the casting directors on the project.
The two studios will be co-producers on the project. Amazon has been making an aggressive push into the original content arena and has ordered the “Point of Honor” pilot for its streaming Amazon Prime service. Helming the series is “Secretariat” director Randall Wallace and the show is written by written by Wallace and Carlton Cuse (“Lost”). Executive producing the show is former ABC exec Barry Rosenand Carlton Cuse.
The show is a historical drama that tells the story of on Virginia family that gets caught up in the Civil War which divides them.
