The Vampire Diaries spin off show The Originals is seeking to cast kids 6 to 8 and teen boys 14 to 16 as extras for a scene coming up shortly.
There are 2 casting notices that the casting directors released, the first is for kids and teens and another for adults. Please see both notices below and read them carefully because they involve different subject lines and information that extras must submit.
This is for paid extras and the pay will be $60 for 8 hours with the possibility of some overtime. The casting also involves a fitting which will pay an additional $15.
Both scenes will be filming in the Conyers, Georgia area. Please only apply if you fit the below descriptions and are local to the area since no travel expenses will be covered.
About the show:
“The Originals” is a Vampire Diaries spin-off that follows one of the vampire families, the Mikaelson siblings, Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah . The show airs on the CW network and premiered last November.

Casting for 2 CAUCASIAN boys/young men extras:
1 -age 6 to 8
and
1-age 14 to 16 (or older that looks young)
These boys should have shaggy or long or longer medium to dark brown hair! This is to play the younger versions of the original vampire siblings Kol and Finn in a flashback scene during the viking era!
Films in CONYERS and will work on Jan 31st (next Friday)

(if you were already there last week or Booked before the schedule changed and contacted by us by email to check avail for Friday, then you do not need to submit again- this post is to add some new faces to the scene and Fill in Those who can’t work on the new Date)
Films in CONYERS and will be a morning start time- you must be available all day long
NOTE 1: FIttings will be tomorrow, FRI 1/24, so you MUST BE AVAIL for a fitting tomorrow!!
(FYI – Fitting times start at 11am and run until 7pm)
NOTE 2. IF you have any 1920’s attire, PLEASE list it in your submission!
Having 1920’s clothing is not mandatory, but helpful!
NOTE 3: Due to available costume sizes
WOMEN -you must be between a size 0 to 10 dress
and
MEN- you must be between a size 36 to 44 coat
** (You can bigger if you have fabulous 1920’s attire of your own, and then you should provide a photo of you in those clothes)
NOTE 4: MEN, the only facial hair allowed is a mustache and you must be ok with a haircut to look 1920’s. It’s a nice haircut!!

The show is set in New Orleans but actually films in Conyers Georgia. Please only submit to this casting if you live in the area. Extras submitting from out of State will not be considered. All extras that are cast for the shoot will be paid for their time. Extra rates are usually around minimum wage.
“The Originals” is a spin-off of the popular Vampire Diaries series. The show focuses on one of the “old Vampire Families” and their situations.
