Actors (White & African American) Needed in Milwaukee for “The Birmingham Children’s March”

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Type: Theater

THE MARCH Civil Rights Arts Project needs the following roles filled for a 40 minute production of The Birmingham Children’s March that will be performed in Milwaukee area schools from February – June 2014. Candidates should be able to perform during normal school hours M – F. Pay is $75 per performance.

James Bevel – African American civil rights leader (actor in their 20’s or early 30’s)

Ruth Greenberg – White civil rights activist (actor in their 20s)

Freida McCarter – African American high school student from Birmingham (female actor in late teens or early 20s)

Dalmutha Michels – African American school principal (female actor 30 yrs and older)
