Lead Roles for SyFy channel Original movie
The SyFy channel original film “Age of Ice” is still looking to cast 2 principal roles in the upcoming feature. The film will begin filming on the 20th in Detroit Michigan.
The 2 roles they are looking to fill is that of Jack, described as a a fit, handsome dad. A cross between Brad Pitt and Mel Gibson’s character in the movie ‘Ransom”. The second role is that of Tariq, A young man from Jordan who is well educated and talks with a British accent.
Ryan Hill Casting has announced the casting call and is booking these roles as well as setting up auditions for the 2 parts. The credits for Ryan include include: The Ides of March, Red Dawn, A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, The Double, Freaky Deaky and Sparkle.

JACK: A fit, smart and handsome dad. Very much a family man. He is Mel Gibson from Ransom meets Brad Pitt. Maybe the best way to look at Jack would be Jack, (Mathew Fox,) from Lost (Or a modern day Harrison Ford from Raiders of the Lost ark.)
TARIQ: 19 years old, A VERY well educated young man from Jordan who has spent his formative school years in the British school system and speaks English with an impeccable English accent. He is a teenage Sayyid (Naveen Andrews) from Lost.
Along with the 2 principal roles still casting, there are many available roles for background extras on the project.
Extras for this project will be hired locally from the Detroit area. Sorry, no travel expenses will be covered, so only apply if you live in the Detroit area or within close driving distance.
Extras will be needed for a movie shooting in the Detroit area beginning on February 20th!
The film is set in Egypt, so they will mostly need people who are, or at least look, Middle Eastern.
This is an ultra low budget film, but they will be paying extras about $50/day.

The location is expected to be Crossroads Village in Flint, MI.
