The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
The Prior Lake Players will be holding auditions for their production of Washington Irving’s ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow‘.
The theatrical production is casting for various speaking and non-speaking roles as well as for the children’s chorus. The Prior Lake Players will hold auditions next week on Monday and Tuesday at the Prior Lake High School. Prior Lake is about a 1/2 hour South West of Minneapolis, Minnesota. ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow‘ will be performed this fall in October at the Twin Oaks Middle School.
Auditions are first come, first served — no appointment necessary.
Roles available for ages 7 to adult. Most speaking roles will be teen/adult, but children ages 7-13 will be cast in the “Children’s Chorus” that will perform during the party scene, and will also be cast as students or townspeople.
Adult/teen auditioners will read from the script. Children (age 7-13) will be asked to sing a simple song (“Happy Birthday,” “Jingle Bells,” etc.) and show how they follow direction. Older children may be asked to read from script as well.
Call-backs will be Wednesday, August 20, if needed.
