This is the story of Jose and Madeline who are now 3 days away from their two month anniversary and counting.
Did you ever think you’d be so sure of committing to someone after only 4 days of knowing them?…Especially while you’re on vacation in Cancun, Mexico.
Day 1: The Resort where they were both staying, Riu Caribe, was hosting a night beach party. This is where they first met, and danced the night away together. The both of them stayed in touch into the next day.
Day 2 : The following night Madeline invited Jose to come to a show that the Resort was hosting. It was an awesome experience and they both felt nervous and excited to spending another night together. After the show the two of them ended the day by spending time with their own friends.
Day 3 : Jose texted Maddy to see if she wanted to hangout at the beach in the afternoon. They both got a chance to talk and learned much more about each other. Before they went on with the rest of their day, Jose asked Madeline out to one of the night clubs. Since it was the last night they were assuming to ever see each other, they made the most of it. The whole night they spent dancing and laughing and started growing a stronger liking for each other. They both felt as if there was a whole other meaning behind them meeting on this vacation. While they were at the club, Madeline mentioned how it was too bad that Jose lived so far away. Since Jose lives in Wisconsin and Madeline lives in New York. Then Jose initiated how he would be willing do commit to a long distance relationship. At first Madeline was shocked with his response because she felt the same way but also couldn’t believe what was happening. They went back to the hotel after the club closed and stayed up late talking about how they wanted to be in a long distance relationship. After a few hours they called it a night and decided to officially talk about it the next morning.
Day 4 : This was the last day Madeline was staying in Cancun, meanwhile Jose was staying for one more night. They met up at the lobby of the hotel to discuss the final decision together. While they were talking they were very nervous but really sure about how much they liked each other. Everything felt perfect in the moment and they couldn’t put into about how right they felt for each other. They promised to FaceTime each other almost everyday and to be honest and loyal to one another. Once the shuttle to the airport arrived at the hotel, they kissed each other goodbye and agreed to be boyfriend and girlfriend.
Ever since then, Madeline and Jose FaceTime each other almost everyday, some days for 30 minutes, some for 3 hours. For their first month Jose sent Madeline flowers as a surprise, she didn’t expect that at all from him. They have their minor arguments since they are still learning about each other. Jose is flying to New York over Thanksgiving to spend a few days together and Madeline also plans to visit him over Christmas break in December. They are both devoted to each other because they know they have something special and it can’t be found in every relationship.
