Synopsis: James, a shy thirty year old must earn his “Man Card” from his family by winning a date with a woman at a wedding reception. Along the way, he learns to have confidence in who he is by not conforming to his family’s standard of manhood, and learning to treat women with the respect they deserve. A Southern Adventist University Production.
JAMES (Todd’s brother) 30 year old introvert, a push over, Masters degree in Computer Science, but he works as a Manager at a computer repair shop. Has had only one girlfriend in his life, who walked all over him, cheated on him and left him a year ago, Since then, he lives in a funk; he lives a life of fear, fear of his family, fear of women and fear of himself. Shoot: 4 days
TODD (James’ brother); 25 year old accountant for a major Tax firm. A pseudo high school jock; who has a serious sense of comfort with women. He thinks he has the upper-hand over his brother’s manhood; and the most respect from his family, especially his mother. Todd is a little egotistical and condescending when he thinks he’s coaching his brother on manhood; but he has his own hidden insecurities. Shoot: 4 days
Sarah, 28 years old, well-educated, spoiled childhood, wallflower personality type; but uses her career as a Psychiatrist to get to know people intimately, while avoids developing relationships. Plays hard to get; yet she enjoys the attention. Shoot: 2 days
Uncle Lou, is 60 year old Free spirit, young at heart, joker still stuck in the 70s; and doesn’t take life too serious. Never married and his philosophy of manhood is just being able to get an attracive woman. Shoot: 2 days
