Stephen King’s Horror Film “Cell” Needs Background Actors / Extras in Atlanta

A movie based on the Stephen King novel ‘Cell‘ is now filming in Atlanta.

Extras casting directors in Atlanta are looking to cast paid background actors / extras for the project which is filming in Atlanta this month.

They are seeking women size 4 to 8 to play flight attendants, business men sizes 42 or 44, people to play cops and airport and security staff.

This is for a 3 day booking on the film which will work in Atlanta, Georgia the 24th through the 26th.

Atlanta residents only because no travel expenses will be paid.

The project has been in the works for sometime, close to 8 years now because talks about the film began in ’07. Well, the movie is finally in production. The film’s screenpay is being written by Stephen King and Adam Alleca. Starring in “cell” will be John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson.

The film is about a mysterious cell phone that ends up creating an apocalyptic chaos. During this chaos, an artist is determined to find his son. The mysterious cell phone signal somehow turns most humans into mindless creatures…. yes, this is Stephen King, so this is a horror film.

Extras casting Atlanta released the following extras notice:

For a 3 day shoot Mon February 24th, Tues February 25th and Wednesday February 26th. We are seeking the following in the ATL area. Must work all 3 days.

-Female Flight attendant types sizes 4-8.

-Business Men sizes 42R, 42L or 44L

-Airport Staff/Security Types that can fit into pants size 34X32 or 38X32. Must own black boots or black work shoes.

-Cops: pants size: 34X32, 36X33 or 38X31. Must own black boots or black work shoes.
