Casting Call for a Chapman U Short film, need a mature male
Location: Los Angeles, CA; Orange, CA

Casting for a Chapman University 1-2-1 (One page, two characters, one location), about a father who wants his son to except him for who he is–with or without his medication.
We are looking for a mature male with a rugged and worn face.
Additionally, we are looking for a late 20 to early 30 year old male to portray the concerned son.
Shooting schedule will be between the dates of Thursday, October 2nd and Sunday, October 5th. The exact day of shooting is very flexible and very much depends on actors availability. The shoot should last no longer than a few hours.
Location TBD, however we are looking to shoot on the edge of a field during golden hour. This of course may change.
Willing to pay for transpiration cost. (i.e. gas).
Characters:
FATHER
The father has developed serious mood swing in his later years and is having difficulty accepting what is going on. His son constantly is trying to make him take his medication, which only makes the Father feel numb. He want’s the son to accept him for who he is, faults and all.
SON
The Son, Butler, has seen his father’s health decline over the past few years since he has developed very sudden mood swings. He wants to help his father, and believes that the medication will do that. He is becoming frustrated by his father’s reluctance to take the medication.
