Callbacks: Monday June 23 6–8 p.m.
Rehearsals: June 30–August 21, 6–8 p.m.
Show Dates: Friday August 22 & Saturday August 23
Actors age 14+ (particularly Latino 14-25) are sought for the inaugural HomeTown summer outdoor stage productions of “Nerdlandia” by Gary Soto and “After the Rock Left” by Bilal Dardai.
Candidates must prepare a 1-minute monologue and bring the completed audition form with a headshot. E-mail for an advanced copy of the audition form.
Nerdlandia: This humorous play follows Martin, a Chicano nerd, who undergoes a transformation with the help of his friends as he seeks out true love with Ceci, a cool chola, who secretly has a crush on him as well.
After the Rock Left: The perpetual dynamic of Rock, Paper, Scissors is put to the test when Rock unexpectedly leaves the abstract plane of existence and Paper and Scissors have to wonder why.
