TNT is getting a new series based on the “librarians” film series.
Extras & Background wanted in Portland, OR
The Portland based extras casting company, Extras Only will be holding an open casting call for extras and background who would like to work on this project.
The “Librarians” TV series is set to film 10 episodes for season 1 in Oregon. The series is set to premiere on TNT sometime later this year and the new series is based on the “Librarians” movie franchise about a secret type of special librarians who work underneath the New York public library safeguarding mystical relics that possess supernatural powers.
The series will star Noah Wyle (Falling Skies) as the Librarian who is tasked with keeping track of these supernatural objects of power. Rebecca Romijn will also star as Wyle’s female counterpart, Eve Baird, who is also tasked with protecting the artifacts. Also appearing in the new series will be Christian Kane of “Leverage”, Lindy Booth, Matt Frewer of “Orphan Black” and John Larroquette. Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin are also rumored to be part of this project.
The casting call is for those 18 & older, all types of looks and ethnicities are welcome to apply.
Extras who are cast for the show will be paid $70-$150/day plus overtime. The show will film through the summer, so those applying should have a flexible schedule and availability to work on set in the day, and maybe into the night for 8 to 12 hour days in Portland.
